Garden enthusiasts took a self-guided tour of nine unique residential gardens in the Historic Court-Chemeketa District, east of downtown Salem. The self-guided tour offered the opportunity for visitors to check out new plants and spark new ideas for their own gardens.

The event is an annual fundraiser for the Lord & Schryver Conservancy, a nonprofit named after the first women to own a landscape architecture firm, that maintains the Deepwood gardens.
